GWYGH, Ep. 104: Cartoon Fever Dream

Imagine that you're a kid back in the early 2000s. You've told your mom you're sick and you have to stay home from school, but this time you're not lying. Your stomach is in twists as you lay in agony across the couch, dazed as the tv channels flicker before you. Through the haze of it all, you hear a jingle telling you that you are now alone in the world, with a little CatDog. You fumble past the half-eaten sleeve of saltines to get the remote, but it's too late... the fever dream has begun. How did they even let this show air? Or maybe, just maybe... it was just a fever dream all along.

Kate and Janine discuss CatDog, which aired on Nickelodeon from 1998 - 2005, if you trust that it existed at all. We float our own theories on how CatDog digested food as well as what the current state of CatDog should be in the year 2020.

GWYGH, Mini Ep. 032: My Beard is Fantastic

Kate and Janine discuss what was everyone's favorite hospital comedy television show: Scrubs! Listen to our glowing review: not the worst thing on TV. In fact, pretty good for 2007.

We now have a Patreon! We'd love your support: patreon.com/hatepodcast. Get exclusive content such as movie notes, letters, and even bonus content!

GWYGH, Mini Ep. 019: Pod of Love

Long before dating show contestants could use their instagram fame to sell detox tea, there was a certain purity to the craziness framed by shows such as Rock of Love. Liz from Bloody Date Night joins Janine to talk about some of her favorite moments from 2000s dating shows.

You can find Bloody Date Night by visiting their website (http://theatlantictransmission.com/podcast/bloody-date-night/) or anywhere on social media: @BloodyDateNight !

GWYGH, Mini Ep. 010: Keeping Up With the Bluths

This is the story of a co-host who lost out on 2000s pop culture and the podcast that had no choice but to produce trash content always. Daniel Spencer from Subverted Tropes joins Janine to discuss Arrested Development in anticipation of its 5th season being released later this month. We discuss our favorite gags, the unique nature of this smart comedy, and our hopes for the future.
