To celebrate the 2019 Emmys, Kate and Janine naturally critique the supposed best-dressed celebrities who attended the 2009 Emmys. All these gorgeous ladies had beautiful gowns, but why wouldn't two mediocre podcast trash queens have the right to critique celebrity fashion ten years later?
All credit for the original list goes to the Susan Cernek article on Glamour 9/20/2009 of best dressed celebrities. Click here to read it.

It's trash pick-up day! Come get your content: (500) Days of Summer (2009), starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, two of the cutest quirky actors you probably had crushes on back in high school. Kate and Janine, happy to be back together for the first time in months, discuss the film, Marc Webb's filmography, upcoming live action remakes of classic cartoons, and our thoughts on features that go straight to streaming.

Note: There is no autotuning in this podcast. We cannot autotune. We can, however, celebrate autotune and its impact on our meme culture! Janine and her cohost (the meme master herself, Kate) discuss AutoTune the News, the Bedroom Intruder Song, and future potential graduate degrees.

Even if you're having the worst Valentine's day ever, at least you're not being chased by a pickaxe murder, right? Doyin from Pour Life Decision joins Janine to celebrate February 14th by watching My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009), a slasher film so weak it hides behind its 3-D effects and hopes you will forgive it for a weak plot and bad acting. But when you're watching a 3-D movie on a 2-D screen at home, you cut right to the bloody heart in a box of chocolates: squishy, overdramatic, and certainly a waste of perfectly good sweets.
The only thing Kate loves more than torturing Janine with bad 2000s media is true crime. In today’s minisode, she discusses the Bling Ring crimes, where a group of teenagers targeted and robbed celebrities’ houses and were later rewarded with reality television and a movie. Who says crime doesn’t pay?
Big thank you, as always, to Paul Ryberg of Plug-in Missing for the amazing theme song. He’s the best! Check out their podcast at pluginmissing.com !
